and the thing fractured, split from top to bottom. Well, naturally it died---almost. Live tissue remains. And one TINY nub of green that is now dimmed with more tissue atop. It SEEMS possibly to be filming over, possibly laying down skeleton. I've had popped heads regrow skeleton, no problem, if stabilized in a dish, say; but a vertically bisected head? Curious. I expect it to die, but it's been a week like this.

I have seen them come back when all i could see was a spec of green in the skeleton. I would say there is always hope if there is some tissue.

Interesting. Speck of green is what I've got.

I have broke them in half when fragging on accident and some make it. As long as there is some flesh there is a chance

update: ten days later, still alive: split from top to bottom, bisected vertically, and still the thing is alive.

Hope it makes it

I took a hammer off a guy that was almost all white(it was for sale for almost nothing so I thought I might as well try to save it)There was only one little piece of green showing. That thing took off and has now been fragged many times. Like everyone is saying, if there's tissue there's still hope!
