Hey guys,

So on this recently acquired frag (maybe one month), I'm noticing it's turning white, but in what appears to be the areas caused by shadow from the light.

Any thoughts?

Tank 3 months old with fairly well parameters
1.025 / 80deg / 0 amonia, nitrite / 5 nitrate / 480 calcium / 9-10 dkh / 1480mag / 0 phos

It's the only coral doing so, and the bonsai polyps aren't as bright as when I first got it
The ones at the store aren't as bright as when I first saw them either, so I'm guessing I bought it when they were freshly acquired

It looks normal. For frags, we don't expect to see shadowing effects unless they have grown so many overlapping branches. Worry no more, spare your worries for next year.
