Cycling off regularly

I just replaced a dead Apex base (sent for evaluation with an RMA) with a used one in perfect working condition. Previous owner wiped it clean. Hook up was bumpy (didn't realize it had to "update" EB8 and EB4) but finally got it working.

Except it periodically shuts off and restarts. Off time is like 30sec but my pumps including return shut off as do lights and all equipment.

It is hard wired to my gateway router which is experiencing no issues.

Any clues?

Did it ever work right for you? First obvious thing that comes to me is that it wasn't actually "in perfect working condition" when you bought it.

So the base unit just reboots on its own? When it restarts are all the lights on the front of the base unit and EBs green eventually?

Have you tried updating the firmware to see it that helps?
