Bad impeller on reef octopus 1000

My impeller has gone bad on my reef octopus. It sounds like a mad hornet on steroids with propulsion engines, duel, and misfiring.

In other words, it's LOUD.

I have a new impeller ordered (hurry please before my head explodes from the noise) and was curious to know if, in other's experience, it would be okay to run for another 3-5 days until it gets here?

Other than just loud, it's pulling water like a champ and making good skim.

Have you checked if there is a snail in the housing? That is usually what makes my skimmers noisy...

Yup. I tore the pump down, cleaned it out, made sure there was nothing in there. The vibrations are at a specific pitch and constant, it's definitely an impeller issue I'm sure.
