Have the midsize IM Mini Max reactor... without looking it over, I ordered BRS Rox 0.8 carbon and BRS GFO.
What a disaster. With the supplied sponges and design of the reactor, these are far too small... either that or I just don't get it..... carbon and gfo easily got past sponges. I mixed the carbon and GFO together and it seemed way to dense. pump wanted to push the who wad of media up through the reactor.
What media are you folks using for phosphate removal and carbon ???
