I really want to re-scape my display fuge with my N. wennerae. Hes been in there for a few months now and im afraid that I will stress him out. Is it best to leave it or can I redo the aquascape?

I have the same question. If you do I would get the mantis out first which might be a problem

Yeah I'd take him out and put him in a covered container while you work

Or maybe just keep it in, and put it in a plastic jar with punched lid.

N. wennerae is a species that inhabits rubble in coastal waters and has evolved to survive considerable mechanical disturbance and heavy silt loads in the water. I wouldn't worry too much about disturbing them while working on their tank unless it involves the use of solvents or the release of nitrites or sulfites from stirring up a deep, old sand bed. They are tough stomatopods.
