Bought this Vertex Skimmer cheap as-is. Now I see the problems. Can you help?
What model is it? The pump is a Quiet One 250 Skimmer pump (https://www.amazon.com/Quiet-One-Protein-Skimmer-Consumption/dp/B005JWA6LM). Would it be a Vertex IN-250?
The thread on the pump is 1" NPT but the opening on the skimmer body is 32-33mm hole that a 1" NPT pipe would not go in. Maybe metric 32mm pipe would? I will then need some elbows and adapters.
The collection cup seems to be one size smaller - 3" instead of 3.5". I need to replace the cup.
Any comment is appreciated.
