Hi RC. I switched tanks and my frogspawn isn't doing too well. It use to be super large and inflated. Now it looks like this. Trying to fix the lights/flow to make it more happy. Does it look like it will recover? Very depressing. This was my first coral and have had it for years.

Current values for alk and Ca? Are they different from what the values were in the other tank?

Lighting? Flow? Are these different from the previous tank?

How does everything else in the tank look? If all is well then I would just chalk this up to a mood swing of sorts and move on. If it doesn't bounce back to normal in a couple days or so then you might have to start looking for some answers.

I've seen euphyllia retract and take days to fully acclimate during tank moves, same w/ mushrooms.

Put down your Standard $20 Fish Identification book down, and give this discussion forum what it deserves knowledge, truth and original factual info.

Not list every food, that generally 99% of All Saltwater Fish Eat!

Your posts are borderline incoherent - not a good way to 'demonstrate' that you have the foggiest idea of what you speak

Likewise. Mostly they recover just fine .... mostly!

forsure recovery I would say the new tank is probably too clean very grumpy about it the transparency it has. Makes it hard when they get stressed am I giving too much light/flow...give it a few days maybe spot feed the fact it's at least blooming tells me it's ok with the light and flow

Odd reaction though. I've kept frogspawn many times and never had it look like that. I've had it look better, and worse
