Hi all,

2nd tank log from Dubai

Just when I thought life was getting better and it was time to settle down, the reef bug bit me again. Worse than the last bite in 2012 :headwallblue:

I guess we only learn (partially) from our mistakes, so I'm going to take a careful plunge.
But this time, ima go slow.. Like really slow!

So I decided this time I won't build it, found a Red sea Reefer 250 in mint condition. At least I can now sleep at night not worrying about "did my tank crack? It is bowing? Oh that cheap silicon wont hold too long! I should've used solid wood for the stand"

Here is what I have for now:
Tank Red Sea Reefer 250
Skimmer Bubble Magus Cruve 5
Return pump Sicce Syncra Silent 3.0 Pump (714 GPH)
Flow pump Sicce Voyager 3 Stream Pump
Lights - Houyi A03-72x3w, Chinese custom made from the last tank. Not the best but does the job well, remote controlled and can be programmed.
Salt - Red Sea
I've personally never used Red Sea salt but I'll use it for the cycle. Will probably switch to DD salt after the cycle.

Problem #1 - Mrs doesn't like the color. Apparently it doesn't match her color scheme. What? :rolleye1:

Join me on this journey, I have no clue where I'm going tho!

You could try to paint it. Happy wife = happy life or is it happy reefer :D

Painting would've spoiled the original paint which I didn't really want to, plus its too much work haha

Better yet - I wrapped it up :D

Your doors are crooked....... :P

But on a serious note, this is freaking sick. I think RS should release a Carbon Edition.

Where do you get the Carbon wrap? This is a brilliant idea

Doors have been a pain to adjust. I try to play with the hinges everyday to try and align them.. Almost there!

Got the wrap from a friend who works at a car wrap company. Cost me less than 30$ for a 1m x 3m sheet

That's nice and a great idea. I should look into buying some from work!
