My oscellaris clowns have just found my RBTA after about 3 months of the nem being in the tank. Its interesting watching the clowns explore it, but they seem to be picking on the nem. They will swim into the it and bite the small tips that are starting, causing the nem to react. 2 of them appear to be almost torn off. It will open back up and they swim in and do the same thing. Other times, its appears they are just cleaning it. Is it normal for them to bite the nem?

Totally normal. They are adapting to the nem and getting ready to live in it. But some times they do cause damage to the anemone. How big is the anemone compare to the clownfish?

Thanks for the reply, that is good info to know. The nem is about 4" across and the clowns are maybe 1.5". Both clowns can easily fit inside the nem at the same time.
