Question about RODI system. Micron filter size.

HI. I was gifted a RODI system from someone about a year and a half ago. I asked for a BRS system but was given the ispring system from Amazon.

It comes with a 5 micron sediment filter and a 5 micron carbon filter. I need to replace my filters. Should I shop somewhere else to get a 1 micron size filter? I have two carbon blocks on the system.

No no need to go down on the membrane size really and FWIW.. Your filters are/should be standardized size wise (2.5x10) and you can buy them from BRS or airwaterice or buckeye hydro or whatever..

Assuming you are on typical city water, yes - you can do better than a 5 mic sediment and a 5 mic carbon block.
