I have a 10 gallon section in my sump I want to turn into a frag tank for SPS and Zoas. What LEDs are you guys using for SPS and have success with?

Mars aqua worked great for me. Went from 3 eye chalice to 25 in a year.

Thanks. What about SPS though? Acros etc.

I like kessils.
Nanobox are nice as well. There are so many now that can grow and sustain SPS

Are these the regular not the HD? Looks like mostly frags. How's growth been on your SPS?

I would look at the AI Primes. As you see above, people are using them, and for a smaller 10g sump or section it would probably be perfect. You could probably keep higher light corals (SPS) directly underneath, and have lower light LPS or softies towards the sides.

I imagine running it at 100% you'd probably see just fine growth, if it wasn't too much light.

Usually, on a nano, any upgraded light will get impressive growth if all other tank parameters can be maintained. When people around here make the jump from stock lights to aftermarket lights, it almost always is enough to carry them through the rest of the hobby. Most people don't make it that far, or get good growth, because keeping parameters stable in a nano is very difficult. If you have it plumbed into your main tank though, and have that tank running nicely, then you shouldn't have that problem at all.

They are both regulars. I have had very good growth but now I'm battling po4 issues because of some of my new rock so growth has slowed a little. A lot of the frags were very tiny and have doubled in size. I am using the ab+ radion sps light schedule for my primes

I just bought a Sb reef light sprite. It is like a mini black box. I don't have any sps in my tank but it is definitely showing growth compared to the stock leds on my jbj 28. I out it in about a week ago and my zoas have already popped out two babies when I would normally see one a month before.
