Here it is dry but delivered. Bad news is wife wants it set up and 75 out before next weekends triple Bachelorette party (1 is my daughter's) .... Yes I will be out. So.... I will have to use the out of the box setup with no ball valve....besides I like the green flex hose, but not a fan of just hose going into the sump as a drain. Also, it's triple drilled and not sure about the intent of the third hole since they sent a capped pvc for it.... Emergency overflow maybe? If so, I assume it just needs to be a pvc higher than the normal overflow?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170519/18e18057d9462f96897ec14e5d5d50e0.jpg

Have you looked into the BeanAnimal system?

I have a bean animal system and I love it, makes it so you have 3 different chances for something to mess up before you flood your house

So in a Bean Animal I would use all three for "drains" and would have to run another line for the return? Could I make a 2/3 bean so ti speak and use two for the drains? They are not much more that 90 degree pvc reversed, or did I miss something? Got a ref. Or a good pic for an example?

I guess if I use only two maybe a herbie would be better https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170519/4fa2670266de8fbc84b3d21cb023f222.jpg

You only need 2 for bean animal set up anyway if your tank clog up both return then you must have godzilla snail you can use the 3rd hole for return if you want to have a clean look

By definition, Bean requires three drains. One is a full siphon tuned to flow slightly less than the return. The second is a Durso drain with just a trickle of water flowing through, and the third is a dry emergency that only has water when starting or in an emergency.

A Herbie uses two drains. One is a siphon set in balance with the return and the other is dry.
