View Full Version : Skimmer always overflowing after power outage

Title states the problem. I need a way to rectify this.

The power goes out frequently in our neighborhood. Not for long but a small shut off for maybe a minute. Happens almost everyday if not a few times a week.

This causes main pump to shut off. Drains water into the sump. Power comes back on and obviously, the water level is too high for the skimmer and I have a full cup in minutes if not seconds. This also causes excess fresh RO to get dumped in from my ATO since the skimmer cup just took a gallon of water from the tank.

I need to know if there's a setting to cause a delay on the skimmer port of maybe 10 minutes or so to prevent it from kicking on.

Thanks in advance.

Add the line below to your skimmer outlet.

Defer 010:00 Then ON
