overflow for 120g

Working on setting up my 120g tank. its a 4x2x2. It has two overflows, one at each corner. With just the two drain lines, each 1", am i limited to doing the Herbie overflow? Only planning on pushing 400-500 gph through the sump, rest of flow will be handled in the display tank with powerheads. For 2 drains, is the Herbie the best option?

Seems like you have two options.

1. Durso in each overflow. At only 200-250 gph in each standpipe, it probably won't be very loud.

2. Herbie in each overflow with the returns running over the back. Use the smaller of the two pipes as the syphon (if the other is 3/4"). It will be silent and reliable, but it will probably take some tweaking here and there.
