So this algea is growing in my overflow and my frag rack in my sump. I'm thinking bryopsis but not certain. Also what would be the best method for removal. I can take my rack out and dip it in chlorine water then declorinate it. But my overflow maybe remove all the water from it and scrub it with vinegar water or hydrogen peroxide? Please give me some advice. Also I'm glad so far it's isolated to these spots.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170608/1adedf3815d2c514d04c9fc3a5d8c4f2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170608/a8136bf6893f5cb7bb08b1f4991426bf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170608/599b2e02fb909961a51a512f3afe5415.jpg

Yup bryopsis. Manually pulling works. Lettuce Nudibranch will eat it but may starve afterwards.

I had success with one till the was nothing left for it to eat and it slowly withered away. Well it starved and I think got sucked into a powerheads.

:fish2:I know there are green forms or coralline algea and right now all of my rocks are turning green but there is no hair algea in the tank at all and the tank is only 4-5 months old now and has been through all the normal cycles and all water peramiters look normal.. but I have never seen this happen with any of my other tanks this one is a 20g hex reef with led lighting have hammer .. frogspawn Xenia zoos and duman coral at the moment and all are uneffected by whatever this is .... any info would be awesome I tried to upload pic but just fails :fish2:
