Where do I go to find plumbing parts for a 55 gallon food grade drum? I want to use the existing bung holes.

Try McMaster Carr.

I went to the hardware store. I got a series of fittings and pieces that once put together will work for the outlet and found a piece that will thread into the top as well. I am going to shorten the piece that connects to the ball valve so it doesn't stick out so much.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170618/609495dbf55bf636929a8ad0d232bd3f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170618/bf70692ce14ca91289d166bb5d205490.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170618/5a62ee03860f1397e542011d57504071.jpg

Why not just cut out the middle of the bung with an exacto knife, and use a 1/2" thread x slip connection? It's designed to be used that way.

Just an option and would have been a little cheaper then all the fittings.

Only the side with the coarse thread was designed to have the middle cut out to fit a 3/4 thread x slip connector. The bung holes have 2 very different threads. I wish they both had knock outs to be used like that.

Yes. Every time in fact. :0)

But I think that bung hole is even funnier.
