I'm running a estopppsk100 on my 90gallon for about 2 years now, its been working great so far but it started acting up recently. The Bubbles drop and sometime nothing gets skimm. Other days it skimms a lot of water into the cup. I will be upgrading to a 125g tank soon so I don't want to buy the same skimmer or a new pump for it. I was thinking of buying the eshopp psk200 or the s200. What's the difference between tha two ? I know the s200 is a cone shape but does that make it better ?? The price for the s200 is about $400 and I can get the psk200 for $250. What do you guys recommend ?? Anybody running these skimmers here ?

I've had good luck with Eshopps skimmers. If you're still finding a PSK skimmer for sale, it's probably leftover stock as Eshopps did away with the PSK line (Except for hang-ons) not too long ago (Replaced with the X series) and also revamped the S series. I run an S-200 (Previous version) and really like it. The new ones have some interesting features, and I'd probably consider one if I was in the market for a new skimmer.

Oh okay but the price range is pretty big. the psk200 is around$240 and s200 $400. I can buy like 3 more tangs for my new tank with the leftover money if i buy the psk200 lol. I've read good reviews on the psk200 as well. Do you thinks the s200 is way better ?? Worth the extra $200 ?

Take a look at the x220 instead of the psk
