Completely different species, unfortunately I doubt Cuban exports will rise anytime soon.

Yes, Gramma dejongi is an entirely different species and not a Royal Gramma (G. loreto).

The embargo applies only to the US. Pretty much everywhere else you could import them legally. They are available in Europe via De Jong Marinelife. But supply is quite limited and prices of wild caught are likely even higher than of these tank bred.

they are stunning little fish.
todd bred them several months ago and just last month it was ruled that the babies could be legally sold in the usa.
smoking hot fish.
