I picked up a very bleached, about 1" diameter rock flower anemone. I have a kessil a150, was wondering what would be good to get it healthy again. Any advice welcome, thank you.

Rock anemones are pretty much indestructible. Mine stay in the sandbed.

This was right after introduction, it looks a lot better now. But you can see how bleached it is. Will it take mysis or some type of food?

Why is the brick anemone on frag plug? Mine doesn't eat much.

Doesn't look like a flower anemone to me plus looks like its on a dead piece of coral that's glued to a plug

Do you have a pic of it now? Definitely doesn't look like a rock anemone

I will have to grab one tonight. Leaving before light comes on. You all have peaked my interest. The owner of the store is cool with me so if its not what it is, its going back.

Auto spelled error. Rock flower anemone should be a single piece like a mushroom coral. From the picture its hard to tell.

That is definitely not a rock flower anemone. It looks more like a St Thomas mushroom or something similar.

Postal. You might be right. I got it from drysdale. Going to see if I can swing in tomorrow morning and ask whats up. Will also try to get another pic up.
