How wide are the doors going to have to be on a stand for a 60*24 tank to fit a trigger sys emerald sump 39 dimensions 39" long x 16" wide? I'm terrible at math.

I would make a 24" door on each end,If possible,One opens to slide sump in/out. The other for power supply, controllers etc.. In addition to the 30" front access door panels.
Just something to consider.

Where the stand is going I can't put doors on the ends.. will 30" be enough to get the sump in?

Are you looking for a minimum to be able to wiggle it In there? I would go wide so you have some extra workimg space. If you looking for bare minimum, Im not where I can check the geometry at the moment but with a 24 inch deep caband a 30 inch opening trying to work in a 39x16 footprint doesnt sound like it would work with the angle and turning, I suspect more like a 36 opening. If it where me, the smallest I would make the opening is 48 for the reason noted above. Matching the 24 inch door recommendation by smokey.

I would make the opening 42 to 48", so u would have 2 doors eighther 21" or 24". I like to have asbig of a opening as possible, not only to be able to fit the sump but to give u as much access as possible to work under the stand.

I always do as smokey mentioned & build a door on atleast one of the ends.

Here is another idea. I like my opening big, as big as possible. I dont / didnt do doors, I made my entire front removable minus the frame of course, just another idea for you....

On my 72" stand, I made bifold doors. The whole front is accessible and the doors only stick out 18" when opened. I used the stand design from the RC thread so I didn't need a center support.
