Hello everybody,
I'm going to be moving my tank tomorrow and I'm just wondering how long I can leave the salt water in the plastic 55-gallon drum? also can I use a garden hose to pump the water? Thanks for any information

What salt mix? Some have some organics in it that has a shelf life..
and how long.. days is fine..
And in general a garden hose with plastic fittings is just fine.. the typical brass fittings "could" leach copper,etc.. into the water (but its such a minimal amount if any in a one time usage thing that its not an issue.. I wouldn't use brass fittings long term though..)

Back up and running. I moved on my coral and live rock to another aquarium that was up in running. I have some live rock in a tote that I'm going to put in there today. When I check on things this morning there was a live snail on the glass so I'm assuming it didn't go to terrible
