Hello All,

I am about to setup my first Calcium Reactor, and before I start plumbing and sealing all connections quick question(s)
1. Korallin has a circular sponge where do I leave that? Below media or above?
2. Do I need to invest in second pH controller?
I have one in the sump, and that will be moved on the reactor to control CO2, other than calibration, do you measure pH in the tank after installing Calcium Reactor

Thank you
Aram

PS Tank is 30gallon+20Gallon sump (15G full). Tank will turn 1 year in September.

The sponge typically goes on the bottom. If you have a pH controller that will shut the solenoid off when the pH gets too low for your media of choice, that is all you need. If you already have one, no reason to buy a second one. Just be sure to recilabate it. That said, it's also nice to monitor pH in the tank itself so having a seperate pH monitor for the tank is never a bad thing.
