Rose bubble tip. Feed small piece of raw table shrimp and a squirt of mysis shrimp each 1x per week. Lighting is Viparspectra (Chinese black box) 165w LEDs.

Got him/her two weeks ago from a friend whose BTA kept splitting...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170713/625bd143c93fba33c0ad5fb85df2efc5.jpg

Nice! Do your corals ever sting your anemone? Should I be worried about spacing?

My anemone has stung my corals plenty, but the good thing about BTA's is that their sting is relatively mild, and as long as you don't just leave them there getting stung and move them within the day, they are fine. What I did is kept everything out of its way while it found its spot and routine, then put corals back where they are just out of arms reach. My BTA retracts back into the big "cave" every night and comes back out when lights come back on and is like clockwork. You can see where her foot is anchored back in there in the picture below. Seems to be working out alright! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170713/789e8b1919f5e153023e7c3020d8a7d8.jpg

Not sure exactly what this guy is but it's bright orange and beautiful! It split once. One half never moved. The other half wandered all around but it came back to where it started from and is buddy buddy with the other half. My female clown plays with it but doesn't allow the smaller male to touch it.

great looking BTAs. I'm thinking of switching over to dry krill. I've heard silversides doesn't really help brighten the colors.

April 15th I started with one rose about 8". Now, I have 8 with total span over 24". Yesterday we added two cb unpaired anemonefish; one took less than one minute to host, and the dove in in under four more minutes. I guess it needed a look around the tank first.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170723/3c12aa105bc3df6315279332b0c3f735.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170723/05768bedb654dc9a5e1c3999a1c1f9f9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170723/fcad888304e557fa8fcbd68c25dac027.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170723/4b29e81c1d12e3e780329ba0c388e3dc.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170723/d8c2e97f57a384c32d44b203156b5184.jpg

Why is one bubbling and a bit light shy and the other stretches out for light and does not bubble is still a mystery!

Here are mine. The pink and green one was sold to me as a rose bubble tip a little over a year ago the green was sold as a 'regular' bubble tip anemone? Lol! The green guy has only been with me a month or so. The clowns kept trying to snuggle in the little rose and when I saw this nice big green nem I thought they might like it since the rose is so small, now they swap and share :)
When im at the local grocery I go to the sea food deli and get a few saltwater items they have (catch of the day specials etc) I get mussels, clams, shrimp, crab etc this gets chopped down to fish and anemone size pieces and frozen. They get fed twice a week with this. I also reefroid once a week but idk if that effects them as it doesn't seem to. No split, rose is 2-3" across green is 7+, it's tough to tell since I don't think it has opened 100% yet. The pic is the most full open I've seen and I'm pretty sure that's not it. This guy acclimated pretty rough, lots of hiding to the point I thought it was dead. Hid 100% under a rock and started bleaching but seems on the up swing now :)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180301/dd403305465006360ecaf772927e25d5.jpg388054

Smokey Stover

Yes, Mine split after about 6 months. There's two of them there. The one on the lower left used to park above and to the right of the momma. She hasn't moved since crawling to that spot. And junior seems to stay close enough to touch most of the time.

I tried to create the perfect spot for it when it went in, Flow, Light, Rock with a perfect fit hole in it... It crawled up and behind the rock between the back glass, Stuck her foot in a small crevice then stretches around the corner facing out lol. Oh well, It's happy.
