View Full Version : Tank Drilling Cleanup ?

Not to long ago after just having finished cycling my new system I decided to redo my sump, overflow and plumbing plus add an ato (diy style ofc). Well the new sump is done and so I started the next task which involved took down my tank this weekend and drilling it. Im still Worthing on things but noticed some of the fine glass residue (particles) left under my plastic trim (see pic). I've hosed it down and tried to get water to flush the area in question out but this is what I currently have. Any ideas on how to remove/ clean?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170730/789a7d95be1c0b1fde5abe49c4235512.jpg

Just thought of one idea, may try compressed air...

No matter what wear protective eye covering on this job!

Hose with a nozzle on the end. That rim is flexible enough to bend a fuzz out of the way.

Update :), with it dry compressed air worked great!
