I bought a large male on 7/26. He is currently in a QT tank with a dwarf flame angel. No aggression between the two and the anthia swims around at times.

My problem is that I haven't gotten him to eat yet. I've tried frozen mysis, spirulina enriched brine, fresh clam and even blackworms. He's still fairly fat but I'm concerned about the hunger strike.

I've done two rounds of Prazi, so maybe that's the cause? Ammonia, nitrites and nitrates are all at 0.

Any ideas or is there cause for concern?

Thanks

IME Prazipro suppresses appetite in some fish. You could try live brine, but it may not get a response from a large male.

Make sure the flow is really good in the QT. A lot of times Anthias don't want to eat food that's just drifting to the bottom but if it falls into the jet of a power head they cans resist.

I tried the flow, no improvement.

Male squares can be twitchy. Best to get them feeding before meds. You'll just have to keep trying variety and perhaps something will work.
