Hello first post here...

I have my 100 gallon rimless on 3/4" plywood and on top of that 1" white Styrofoam.
After I got the tank set up I noticed that one corner of the foam has a chip out of it.
Is this a problem?

Thank You

That tank doesn't need it under the tank, it has a frame that keeps the glass from touching.I would drain and remove it.

the bottom trim is merely decorative............manufacturer specifies 5/8" minimum Styrofoam.

Ok, I thought it was structural support. That should be ok. Who made the tank.

I'd get a few coats of paint on there to prevent further detoriation

I prefer the pink stuff, no 'pebbles' to break off.

Ideally yes i like that option too, but manufacturer states white styro. I have heard that the pink does not have enough "give".

Now white or pink......is the chip in the foam at the corner an issue?

Thanks

Not an issue.
