Some months ago, I was mounting coral to rock using putty and loctite. I managed to rub some on my stained wood canopy. I can see a faint white mark now. Is there anyway to remove it without damaging the underlying stain?

Depends on what you got on the wood. If the loctite is cyanoacrylate, you can use acetone to remove it. I'd test that on a small area first, as it can also discolor the wood. If it's putty, you're probably out of luck. You can try scraping off, or sanding and re-staining.

It's probably putty and I think I am out of luck. But I will try Acetone just to be sure. Thanks.

If you have a few layers of poly on the canopy you should be able to use a fine sand paper and buff it right out
