Hi, my tank's PH varies between 8,2 at the end of the day and 7,8 at night. Is this too large of a swing? I was thinking about adding kalkwasser to raise it a little bit but I guess that would just move the swings up a bit (say to 8,0 -8,4?) but would not solve the swings per se.
Of course, if 7,8-8,2 is fine than I would rather not do anything unless the higher range would improve coral health and calcification.
I know running a refugium in reverse light schedule (which I have) helps to smooth out the swings but do not want to do it at this stage.
