Shouldn't it have an instruction on it. Like for this volume of water this many ml's will increase this much?

Every tank is different. You'll need to dose and measure alkalinity daily for a while to get a trend line. This calculator should help:

http://reef.diesyst.com/chemcalc/chemcalc.html

Google turns up this for concentration:

1ml will raise the Alk level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.036 meq/l (0.1dKH)

You need to know your consumption rate.. As stated each tank is different..
You know that by testing each day or so until its known..
Some might drop 2 points of dKH a day some may do that in a month..

Then you simply read the directions and follow them accordingly..

There is a simple dosing chart in the bottle, but is always better to check your consumption. On an email from Redsea they mentioned to me that it would only affect nitrates of too much is added, and that unless dosing foundation B (coralline) other supplements wouldn't significantly raise Alk.
