Reeflink and Vectras

I have sold off most of my Ecotech gear and all I have left that I plan to keep is my Vectra. I still have my reeflink too and since I don't ever change my vectra speed, it seems like having a reeflink is pointless now. Is there any reason that I am missing to keep the reeflink with the vectra if you are not programming it for closed loop purposes? Do you have to have it for firmware updates or anything else important for down the road that can't be accomplished some other way?

I think the reeflink is useful for the Vectra in a CL application, but not really useful as a main return pump; so I agree with your thinking.

I have confirmed with ecotech hat basically I'd only be losing the ability to update its firmware. Not sure when I'd ever have to do that if just running like a solid return pump
