Bubble Blaster HY3000

I shut down my tank for a couple years and put everything in storage. I am ready to get started again and got everything out to make sure it was working properly.

I had the HY3000 on an Octopus Extreme 200. The pump will not turn on. When I plug it in it just hums but no rotation. The pump is clean. I can hear something rattling around internally when I move it.

Any suggestions?

If the pump is shot what would you guys recommend replacing it with? The DC pumps seem to be the thing now.

I'd take it apart and see what's going on ....4 screws....

If you can't figure it out, I'd give coralvue a call, they are the factory authorized dealer for that pump....they have excellent customer service...
