I have a 100 gl FOWLR, and my water is cristal clear. The thing is I'm wanting to keep it that way. I'm stocking up my tank, and have a lifereef sump and refugium coming. I'm just not sure what to use to keep my tank clear like it is. I was thinking of purigen or carbon to keep it that way. What do you think is my best option?

That depends on what might end up causing cloudiness. I'd start with some activated carbon and consider adding Purigen if the water gets a bit cloudy. Activated carbon is a good safety net for a number of problems, so it's a good place to start. If you do end up with cloudy water, there are various approaches to consider. Borrowing a UV filter or a diatom filter for a test would be one way to start.
