Mushroom coral stuck

So my mushroom coral got stuck in a hole today. I am not sure if it is ok it moved deeper and deeper in and today I tried to get it out unsuccessfully so is there anything I should do? It does not get much light in the hole I will try to get a pic. Thanks

Mushrooms, like their distant cousins anemones, will move to wherever they want, whenever they feel the need. Leave it be. The only thing you will do at this point is damage it.
