I did run a search but couldn't find anything but wondered if anyone knew of any good information on making your own rock structures. There are a few videos on YouTube but all look very amateurish and wondered if there is any negatives about it.

I mainly want to make some flat pieces and some thin riser sections. Just after info of what to use to make it, the process of making it and if anyone has any ideas or any tips. Thanks.

Many use PVC and drill holes in the rocks to assist with support in building the structure. You can also use zip ties and holes within the PVC to securely attach. The trick is trying to hide all of the support structure. An option are reef safe putties which will harden after shaped. These can be hit or miss as far as quality.

Thanks for your reply but I meant actually make the rock. Like from cement or some other material.

Although they are walls the process should be the same for making just rock structures.
