Just barely saltwater related, wondering if I started dumping the saltwater from my water changes on a out of control honeysuckle vine/tree would that kill it? Also, would that also poison the soil for anything else to grow?

In general a honeysuckle plant can tolerate some level of salt in the soil..
I would not attempt to stop it via pouring saltwater on it..
Its not going to work well and yes may cause issues in the long run with nearby plants/future plants but rain would likely dilute any salt after a little while..

Manual removal of the honeysuckle is best and usually pretty darn easy..

I agree that the saltwater likely will kill a lot of plants, and it might take a fair amount of time to wash the salt from the soil. I wouldn't try it, but I suspect that you could kill the honeysuckle.
