Just picked up a 40w UV sterilizer I will be running on my 120G sps dominated reef. I know UltraLife states if you run less gph through one it increases the "kill power" and vise versa, but I have also heard people before state there's certain things that are harder to kill such as Fungi and ich so you would in theory need to run less water through it to target those things. Personally I am just looking to run it for algae control and water clearity. So what kind of flow are you guys running through your sterilizers?

I run a 36w Jebao with a 1200 gph flow on my system (2- 90's and a 220 gallon sump. It keeps the water clear and kills the free floating algae. IF I had a disease issue, I would reduce the flow to about 200 mph for more contact time. I run mine 24/7.

Whatever the manufacturer recommends.
I run 600 gph through my 25w AquaUV Classic.
