Pukani is a fantastic rock in many ways but PO4 can be a problem. Here is a great thread to follow. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2145395&highlight=pukani

Is there any other live rock or sand in the system? If not, you can add the Pukani to the system. Otherwise, it can be easier to deal with a phosphate problem with the live rock in a curing tub. Whether your rock will have any issues is hard to predict, though. You could add it and remove it if you see a phosphate spike, for that matter.
