Can anyone tell me what was likely to cause this slime to my torch coral it was fine before I went too sleep this morning it has completely receeded and looks to be coated in slime

Can you give us your water parameters?
And any other details you can think of..
How long have you had it?
How long has the tank been up?
,etc..
etc,,..

The more details YOU provide the better we can guess...

But as you can see from your last post about this same issue....sometimes its impossible for us to know/guess why... Its VERY important you give as much details as possible..
Could be too much light, too much water movement, unstable parameters..
Posting a picture would help too.. details...details..details..

From the picture you posted in the other thread, that would be my guess. Use a piece of airline tubing to carefully siphon off as much of it as you can. If allowed to spread, the coral is a goner and should be removed (once again, carefully) to avoid the slime getting to other corals
