Hello fellow aquarium hobbyists,

I am trying to figure out what will be needed to connect the RO to my kitchen sink.

Please see picture attached - what type of valve do I need to buy to connect on one hand the cold water that goes to the sink and one exit that goes to the RO system

Thank you in advance!

Best,
George :wavehand:

Would something like this work better in order to conrol the flow to the RO?

http://www.homedepot.com/p/BrassCraft-1-2-in-Nom-Comp-Inlet-x-3-8-in-O-D-Comp-x-3-8-in-O-D-Comp-Dual-Outlet-Dual-Shut-Off-Multi-Turn-Angle-Valve-CR1901DVX-R/205214558

I will not have the flow to the RO continuously...

George.. Just an FYI.. I can't see your latest post yet (silly jail function of this site) because you posted an external link/image and have a low post count..
Mods typically take about 24 hours to "approve" it and it will then show up..
Or just attach whatever you have like you did in your first post.

Something like this will work too. More expensive than a tee, however.

For drain:https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/drain-saddle-clamp-1-4-push-connect.html
Install before trap

So next Question dear aquahobbyists - which one do you recommend? in terms of Reverse osmosis. I do not want to spend that much money and my tank will be a nano reef 21 gallons.

That is a loaded question. Everyone thinks theirs is great just because they are getting 0 TDS out of it. Any system with DI will give you 0 TDS, the real issue is how long will it be before you need to replace the DI to keep getting 0 TDS. Unless you have some really bad water I would go with either of these units. Also pickup a handheld TDS meter.

You can also check any of the RODI sponsors. There are several and I don't keep up with their prices.
