Betters to buy new Chinese BB or used AI etc??

So what's the better decision... say comparing mars aqua or similar unit to buying a 2 year old pair of hydras or vegas?

These are to supplement with T5 and will be running super low...

This is just my opinion, I have owned the standard Hydra since 2013. Yes they work. But what I know now, I would have bought black box. Saved money. I don't use the bells and whistles. And plus they are weak.

Been using 3 original hydras since Day 1 of their release. Took a bit to get them dialed in but are more than plenty for my mixed reef. Never found a need for the 52's or even the HD's, I get plenty of par at the bottom for my setup. I only use the weather for the cloud cover to help break up mid day intensities.

I was running a BB up till a month or so ago, changed to 2 Hydra 26's. The tank was doing better asndlooked better under the BB which also had higher PAR. Really debaiting on switching it back over since I kept the BB.
