Hi all. Thank you in advance for any advice you have to share. I currently have a 32 bio cube. My parameters look good but my sand bed has lots of green algae and the starts of cyano bacteria (the red slimy stuff) and see it on one of my rocks. I currently have what comes with the tank and nothing additionally. Do you think I need more flow? What would you add?
pH 8.4
Nitrates 10
Phosphates 0
Salinity 1.24

2 black clowns
1 fire shrimp
3 Trocus snails
6 hermits

Thanks all!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170913/9263905588f82886232a89095fd7ac3d.jpg

new tank right?
Thats very normal and referred to as the "ugly stages" of a new tank.. diatoms/green algaes/cyano.. usually in that order too..

As long as you don't have any corals.. Just turn the lights off... A few days is good.. repeat as needed..
It will take care of both by removing "light" from the needs of both the algae and the cyanobacteria.. Without light it goes away..

Keep up with water changes to keep nitrate/phosphate low and just enjoy....

But that stuff should just go away on its own.. Its a normal part of a new tank.. that you should just let happen vs trying to fight it... its nature doing nature.. don't make nature mad :)

What mcgyvr said. IMHO, more flow is rarely a bad thing.
