It has been 4 hours since I took my filter socks out of the wash.

I did one cycle with bleach, the other with just water. My sump is making a ton of noise without the two in place. Can I put them in now?

Thanks :wavehand:

do they still smell like bleach at all?

i usually soak mine in RODI with a water conditioner to neutralize any leftover bleach, but i also don't put mine in the washing machine.

i would assume if you ran a cycle of just water and they don't smell like bleach that you should be fine. for extra piece of mind, rinse them in some rodi.

So, you only have the two and no back ups? My sump only uses one and I have 7 in use. Once used they soak in a pail with a little bleach and I toss them in the washer for two rinses when the last sock is being used. I change them out every three days.
If they feel dry to the touch I'd say it was okay. If they still feel wet you can rinse them out with RODI water and then put them back.
