I will shortly be buying a Red Sea Max nano aquarium. My thought is to put it in the corner of my bedroom. Basically, pretend that this air purifier thing is the tank.

As you can see, it's next to a window with blinds on it. It will sit at an angle, the way that the air purifier does. Does that seem like too much light? Should I find another place for the tank?

If it's letting too much light in, you could just put some blackout curtains up.

That's all indirect light though. That part of house is shaded most of the day.

Now the next question? White or black? :)

Whatever color the wife/girlfriend thinks looks best. White would match your trim

Wife wants white. Hence, we're getting white.
