More than a single chromis in a tank under 120 gallons almost alway results in the dominant chromis killing the others. I would consider a couple of flasher wrasses and a single chromis.

I have 3 blue chromis in my 110g they get along fine. I put them in together as my first fish.

Juvenile blue Chromis will probably get along fine in a group. Adults can be highly territorial, particularly the males, and not just against other Chromis. Basically they start acting like other damselfish. Deloach (in Reef Fish Behavior) describes a male Chromis chasing away parrotfish that venture within 5' of its nest. Unfortunately many books don't mention the adult behavior.

I made the mistake once of ordering 6 adult Chromis from a supplier in Florida, only to have them start killing each other within hours of arrival.
