I've got this scans that has been doing great. Started with 3 heads a couple months ago and has about 6 new heads around it. A week or so ago I started to see these long strands near it but they're multiplying. Is it just some kind of algae or something else? Its the stuff on the right of the frag disk.

Are you sure thats not tentacle extension. Some arcans have sone pretty decent extensions. But the color is not what I would think. If algea a good cleanup crew is either on break or not employed.

Sent from my SM-G955U using TapatalkTentacle extension only comes from the center where the outer color layer and middle section meet up.

I agree looks like cyano, how's the flow in that area of your tank?

Sent from my Pixel XL using TapatalkFlow is probably medium for the tank. After checking out cyano, it looks like that's what it is.

Thanks for the help everyone.
