I hadn't planned on getting any angels for my new 120 mixed reef because of their iffy reef-safe-ness. But last night I made an impulse buy after seeing a golden angel for the first time in person and reading about how they're pretty good compared to other dwarf angels in a reef.

It seems though like most people have indicated that theirs are extremely reclusive. Although mine spent his first night hidden in the rocks from his tank mates (2 oscellaris and a juvenile purple tang). He's been out and about this morning and I even caught him eating a piece of frozen mysis. I'm assuming this is a sign he's a bit more outgoing than most??

Nice pickup, gorgeous fish. Keep us posted on how things turn out. Could be limited tank mates so it is not nervous about exploring.

One of my favourite Angels of all time. I kept one for years and would again if I ever saw one available.

Not where I am apparently. I haven't seen one available in a couple of years now.
