I thought bubble algae was brown? This is like orange. I have found a few around my tank. Thanks! :roll face:

Looks like bubble algae. Time to throw out your tank and buy a new one.

Is it that bad to get rid of it? I have never had it before...

Depends who you ask. It is the worst pest I have had in my tank -- and that includes things like red bugs, monti eating nudis and zoa eating nudis.

I'd do a good search of your tank, if that is a bubble algae piece there is likely more somewhere else. I doubt a random bubble just materialized on your sand bed =)

Get some emerald crabs they’ll take care of it. It works at my tank.
