I have a green carpet anemone in my tank which I am stocking with corals. I have read in several places that nems should not be kept with coral because of "chemical warfare" in competing for space and food.....is this true?

Should I start looking for a new home for my carpet nem?

Run carbon and you should be fine. Many gig owners also keep corals in the same tank.

I am running carbon in the tank; so things should be fine as long as the nem doesn't eat my fish, right? LOL

Lol Yes. That is why I do not have a carpet yet, do not want to risk it. I will convert one of my tanks for a carpet (or mag if I could find a nice purple base) tank in the future.
