Hermit crab ID please

Hello folks, I love hernits and I saw this one at my lfs, I had to get him! Guy at lfs didn't know the name, does anyone here know it ? Black legs with white stripe running down the legs. After 30 mins in my tank he chaged shells, was really cool to watch !

A hermit crab obviously as he is changing shells as he grows.
I have never been a fan of crabs, always lead to the destruction of something in time.
Make sure he has available larger shells or he will die

Hehe, my phrasing was off, I understand how hermits work it's just it was the first time a hermit changed shells. The real question is what variety of hermit is this one.
